Student Clubs

All girls Kindergarten through 5th grade are welcome to join the Little Flowers! Little Flowers Girls' Club teaches virtues by helping mothers & daughters grow in faith together. We learn about the Saints, memorize Scripture, & practice virtues through service. Girls earn flower badges for their sash & get to wear it to school one day a month. Large group events include a service project, a field trip & Mother-Daughter Tea at the end of the school year.

GOTR coaches work directly with girls, leading them through the national Girls on the Run curriculum, teaching them healthy habits and training them for a "practice 5K" at their GOTR site. The season begins on Tuesday, August 27th and runs for 10 weeks. The St. John's group meets Tues and Thurs from 3:30-4:45. At the end of the season, the girls and coaches have the option to participate in the official GOTR 5k race at Air Park on November 2nd.

Some perks of volunteering with GOTR:

  • Early bird registration to ensure your runner has a spot on the team.
  • Satisfies your school volunteer hours requirement
  • Free registration for the 5k for you and your runner
  • Free GOTR coaches T-Shirt

You don't need to be a runner to be a GOTR Coach!!

If you have questions about GOTR or are interested in coaching in 2019 please contact Lindsey Dresden.

Builder's Club is a "student-led" community service organization for 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students. It is sponsored by the Lincoln Northeast Kiwanis Club and the Circle K Club at the University of Nebraska. Its goal is to develop leadership qualities in young people through experience in volunteer service.

The Board of Directors is comprised of the officers and a representative from each class. The officers and the class representatives are elected by the members of the club. The meetings are run by the officers, and work is carried out in committees. We usually do one service project a month outside of meetings.

The Board of Directors meet on the 1st Tuesday of each month and the general meeting is on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. All meetings are held in the Library

Mrs. Regan is the faculty advisor and Mr. Kruse is the Kiwanis advisor.

Builder's Pledge: I pledge on my honor to uphold the objects of Builder's Club; to better my school, my community, my nation, and myself; to aid those in need while enhancing leadership capabilities, and to encourage the fellowship of all mankind.
